My wife phoned Discovery Insure for a quote on a vehicle we intended buying. She gave no consent to activate cover as she asked for quotes from several companies. I was not involved at all but Discovery deducted a premium from my account. Me or my wife never gave my banking details but I assume they got the data from Discovery Health as we are members. On phoning them the call center lady informed me that nothing can be done on a Saturday and that's it, no-one can be contacted, nor is there a escalation procedure. As I did not budget for this sudden payment I had to cancel all our weekend plans and will just have to wait untill monday to sort this mess up.
