Swiped FNB Chip & Pin Card, NO PIN NEEDED

It was very recently that I found the hellopeter platform, and it appears FNB responds, which is more than I got from the bank staff.

I have the Gold Cheque account with the claimed, VERY secure chip and pin card.
It has become apparent to me, that it is not a local problem as per hellopeter and talking to other FNB customers. If your Chip and Pin card is swiped, funds are directly removed off you account with no need for a pin!
After approaching the banking staff to help, no one could provide an answer. After being told to leave my cell number and they will get back to me, its now been over 6months, still NO CALL!

It is for this reason I WILL NOT have my salary paid into my FNB account. This is not safe, and with the current rates, this modern, HIGHLY SECURE (claimed) CHIP AND PIN CARD needs to be reassessed. I will stick to having my salary paid into my SECURE nedbank account with an apparently old mag strip card.

I hope this helps convince FNB to look into the security regarding their card systems
