I am a pacifist by nature but every year or two, I take delight in hurting one of OUTsurance's friendly and helpful insurance consultants. It's not as though I set out to hurt someone - but it happens all the same. Let me explain.
From time to time, I call the friendly OUTsurance customer care line to update my policy details and while I am on the line, I might point out that I have been a loyal customer for many years and how I appreciate my annual OUT Bonuses. And then, sometimes I do it (as I did today): I ask them to evaluate my premium. At that point, I hear them do the maths and in my mind's eye - I have a vision of a consultant bending over as far as is humanly possible - for the umpteenth time. Ouch! The voice I hear next is still as friendly as ever: "not a problem Mr Short, I have identified an opportunity to please you".
Wow! Thank you OUTsurance - I wish my boss was as reasonable with me.
