The new system of entering Absa Alberton is very frustrating. You need to tell the front lady what you are there for (stand in line before you even get into the bank), she then issues you with a ticket and you are guided through the revolving doors to be met by someone who then looks at your ticket and tells you to sit down. You will then be called through an intercom system.

Where the frustration comes in is that you simply do not know how far in line you are because you are sitting somewhere in the bank because you have been told to and you do not know if you are there for 5 min or 50 min. The old system of standing in line is MUCH better as you know how long you are going to be there for as you can visually see.

I would rather go to another branch where this system is NOT in place.

While I was there I saw that 80% of the customers were NOT happy and I was one of them. I walked out!

Hope you reconsider you new system!
