I have a contract cellphone and insurance with FNB. I have my phone for almost 7 months. My phone froze and I restarted it but it did not switch back on. I called the insurance company and explained my problem, they emailed me a claim form. I called to confirm if they received it they told me it takes 24 hours, I asked to explain the procedure, I was told that I have to pay R2000 excess!!! What is the use of having insurance? Which means if I pay that R2000 I am actually paying to repair my own phone that is ridiculous. I am really not happy about that, I am so cancelling my insurance
