After having discovered that they had debited my account of an amount of R400 without my authorisation, I contacted the call centre and spoke to possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered. She advised that a mail was sent to me to cancel my contract which I did not receive and went out to explain they can not be held liable if I did not receive the mail?
She spoke over me constantly and refuted that I had not received the mail and that they were not liable. When I questioned should I then take this up with Google? She advised that my sarcasm was not appreciated and put the phone down in my ear.
I didnt realise that companies are allowed to deduct money from an individuals bank account at their leisure.
