I just received another harrassing phone call (24.10.2013) from African Bank regarding an account in my name that as far as I am concerned does not exist. I am not prepared to stand for this for a single moment longer and feel they need to be exposed on a much larger scale! With call centre consultants telling me that I need to send them proof that this is not identity, and I will be affected via my credit record regardless when I explained that I refuse to pay African Bank a single cent as I don't have a loan or any account with them for that matter! Disgusting and appauling - at which point understandably I totally lost my cool. I refuse to stand for this and if not contacted with an immediate solution and explaination to this incident will be escalating this matter along with previous incidents in which I was contacted and threatened (w.r.t credit rating) to pay money on accounts where no evidence or information is being provided! In addition, if as much as a single enquiry is done on my credit report by African Bank, I will also be escalating this to transunion as well as the relative media and legal teams. This is the final straw and quite frankly down right illegal!
