Unhappy that its not being updated

I recieved a call 12/09/2013 from someone at African Bank (male). He advised me that all interest has been taken off the account as i am paying the account so well. I havent been paying for a while as i lost my job and i couldnt afford to pay the loan. To take this a step further ive been paying the loan now for more than months at a agreed rate (not skipping). I pay to get a credit report to see that my credit record has not been updated by African Bank and its negatively impacting me applying for jobs ect., I do understand that i was negligent with not paying but im paying now and my credit should be updated every month as i have a fixed agreement and I want solid prove of the agreement made with the person who called to inform me that African Bank has removed all interested, which will allow me to finish the loan sooner. Im very upset as the agent who called me advised he will be sending me the prove of our conversation and I want my credit report updated
