I applied 5 weeks ago for a credit limit increase. After 3 weeks I had to phone the card division to check on my application because I had received no feedback. According to FNB they phoned me and there was no answer. My phone is permanently on. I then found out I need proof of income. I went to my human resources department got a printout and stamped and emailed it to FNB. This surprises me because I bank with FNB they can see i get a salary every-month. Another week and a half went by and still not response. On the 21st October, I phoned only to find out that they needed a copy of my actual pay-sheet as proof of income. The letter from my HR department stated all my earnings and deductions. So i photocopied my pay-sheet emailed it through and still no response. I phoned a few minutes ago 23rd October to find out that they only received my email an hour ago and it is not clear I need to send a clear copy. This is really ridiculous. I must say that when i fist joined FNB i was overwhelmed by their service. Two years later and i feel that their service has gone down. The way I feel now, i am considering changing to another bank
