Funeral cove

I had a funeral cover with drum magazine kga in 2011 and it lapsed in 2012 cause i was unemployed, so i call them today to re-instate my cover and im told i have to wait 12 months waiting period, which i find unnecessary as my initial waiting period was 6 months so y should i have to wait a year?

i paid that policy for 2 years... i believe i deserve a better deal...
