Hi My mother-in-law had a funeral cover with Absa bank and passed away on the 05/06/2013. We battled for moths to get the policy to pay out to the funeral home - but to no avail. Now this month we have to pay the funeral home the full amount because they can not wait longer. I really think Absa must change their website information especially about the funeral plans and the will because it and I quote " would love to spare your loved ones the additional burden of managing the short-term aspects of your estate during a grieving period"
