Standard Bank
No communication as to where things stand

On the 15th September I was involved in a car accident, on Monday the 16th I finalised the latter stages of submitting my claim, to which I requested car rental. On the 1st October Sibonelo called me to inform me that my vehicle had been written off and if I could send him the registration papers. I informed him I could only do it on Thursday the 3rd as I was out of office. On Friday the 4th in the morning I sent him the papers, an hour later he called to ask if I had taken the vehicle for inspection at PG Glass. I told him I hadn't because when I took out the policy it wasn't mentioned it was compulsory nor is there such a clause in the insurance papers as Sibonelo claimed this was going to present a problem. He later asked if the vehicle was previously insured and I told him yes and sent him the ID number of the previous owner. To cut a long story short, Sibonelo hasn't contacted me since, I have sent him two emails, called but he's either busy or in training and I only have 5 days left on my courtesy/rental car and this claim is nowhere near being sorted out. I work shifts at OR Tambo Airport and need transportation and do not believe this is handled with the urgency it deserves
