I am very disappointed in Absa (aip services) for deducting monthly insurance from my bank account without ANY consent from myself to appoint a new insurer. Once I have discovered this deductions I made several telephone calls and e-mails whereby I attached proof of my current insurer and absolutely no feedback and payment of the two monthly deductions was done by their offices. The strange thing about it all was that I was informed that they didn't receive my e-mail whereby proof of my insurance was attached, but according to their offices they only received the attorney's e-mail. I was assured that my money would be paid into my account within the next 5 to 7 working days. It has now been 2 months and is there no sign of any refund. I just like to make it very clear that I never once consented or signed to appoint a new insurer and was I never contacted by their offices and or received any letter from them. Why couldn't they confirm my insurance by means of looking back at the history at time of signing of my vehicle's contract with the insurance provided at that time??
