I have a Nedbank Home Loan and with that have taken the additional life cover for disability and death (to cover the bond).
I submitted a claim for temp disability on the 29 November 2012 - followed up on the 31 December 2012 as no feedback was received.
On the 3 January 2013, I was called and requested to send the first page of my claim form as this was apparently not originally received (I simply re-sent my original e-mail as all docs were attached) and further requested to obtain a letter from my oncologist specifying my treatment dates.
This info was duly sent on the 08 January 2013 and I again requested feedback on the 17 January 2013 as no feedback has been received.
I attempted to submit an on line complaint on Nedgroup Life's site but after typing my sad story and submitting, the site processed an "error" so I wonder what does work.
Calling the call centre is pointless unless you want to have a manicure while listening to the endless on hold music.
All my e-mails record my attempts and after perusing through this site today - I simply refuse to wait months like other clients.
Any feedback will do - as it will give me something to forward to the Ombudsman.
