Differential failure because of water in the differential oil. How the water got in I don't know, what I do know is that it was before I bought the car and policy and they will not cover it.
Forget all the amounts they say they cover you for, you will never see it. You can ask for a refund of the remainder of your policy but not if you have tried to claim, even if the claim was rejected. So by the time you have realised the policy isn't worth the paper it is printed on it's too late to return it!
They cover mechanical failure... the diff is mechanical, it failed... Why is this not covered? If a 4x4 is used for what it is intended and water does somehow get into the oil, why oh why is this not paid for???!?!
Terrible! how are people like this still in business?
