I was contacted by FNB regarding a cell phone package, i was offered a cell c package or a vodacom package. As i am already a vodacom customer i requested the vodacom package. I was told i would receive a new sim card but i needn't worry about losing my existing data and airtime. When the package arrived it was a cell c sim and it wasnt even the right size that my phone requires. My vodacom sim was sim swapped to cell c which inturn resulted in the loss of R500 worth of data and all my airtime. I am really disgusted that the consultant gave false information just to make the sale. I have been a loyal FNB customer but at this point i am considering moving to another bank.
