Someone please explain to me how this company is still "functioning" when they employ the most staff. I have just been handed over for fees not paid on a Discovery credit card I haven't possessed since 2007. It seems that closing an account once is not enough.

In June it was my 3rd attempt to close this account after they informed me of costs incurred since 2007. I must be missing something because I thought you need to actually produce a credit card for you to be able to use it.

The best yet, is that I have written confirmation from Discovery in June this year, confirming they made a mistake and that the matter was settled... done and dusted. To my surprise I found out I was handed over on 16 September.

The constant messages and phone calls from this company demanding their money is border lining harassment now. WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE??? Legal action, it seems is the only option here and then it won't be pretty.
