In the bank, whilst standing next to Sindiswe to view my account that was on her screen, the Agency head Karen arrived on the scene. "You are not allowed to stand next to Sindiswe! sit on that chair" was the first words that came from her mouth. I was outraged, displaying such rudeness and disrespect for the person that pays her salary, in full Standard Bank uniform what was she thinking I thought. I responded by informing her that as a client I had the right to view my account. She repeated the order. For a senior bank official what a complete lack of customer centricity and professionalism. I asserted myself and told her to go to. She then addressed Sindiswe in a very abrupt manner informing her that she will be required to see her in her office as soon as she was completed with me. She walked away. Sindiswe said, " I cannot help you further I am scared". I approached Karen in her office. Words were exchanged loudly, profanity was used by both of us resulting in her laying her hands on me and pushing me. She lost control of the situation, displayed no management skills, acted like a thug screaming get security. I left with my query unresolved. I AWAIT FEEDBACK FROM THE BANK!
