Cant get hold of consumer rights

I had an African bank loan, which I settled in august. today I went to apply for a personal loan at dobsonville I got declined. the reason was vague, we then called their helpdesk with their loving consultant. the lady I spoke to said the reason I got declined was because they received my payment late for march, april n may. I argued that I was never contacted for the late payments, why wasn't I told. I moved companies and even switched banks. i started at my new company in march. i went to African bank in town to tell them of the changes. in which they changed them, because then how did they receive the payment for march. its not my fault that they didn't change my paydate from the 20th to the 25th. or they changed them late. because June's instalment was received on the right date & on time. i checked my credit report with transunion and everything is in order. it means African bank are the ones that have blocked me from getting credit from them. the lady from helpdesk said they cant dispute it because the account is settled, i was told to call consumer rights. tried several times, i cant get through. wasted money now. i want African bank to solve this period..
