On Friday I received an sms to say i'd bought something off the internet for R3999. i immediately called the Standard Bank department. after holding for 15mins I received another sms to say id now bought something for R24999. I hung up and called lost cards. I cancelled my card. i then called the department again to try and resolve it 45 mins later, still on hold my battery ran flat. i found a charger and tried 4 more times to contact them. eventually the lost card division managed to get hold of them and they called me. on Monday i phoned the website who within 2 minutes agreed there was on my card and offered to reimburse me in full. they said that as the items have not been processed yet they can still stop the purchases. I have however blocked the account so need to provide them with another account number. I have tried to call the department 3 times today and sent 2 emails, no luck. So I was defrauded of almost R30 000, i have tried to call SBSA 10times, i have done all the investigations and found the solution and still Standard bank is unreachable. i can only imagine how much money is lost to with such an incompetent division running investigati
