This is a complaint about the Nedbank Personal Loans in East London. Last year I went to the mentioned bank to apply for a consolidation loan. Unfortunately it was declined and they only offered R 5 100.00, which I declined. The following week on Monday (03/12/12) I received a call from a consultant who attended me at that time (her name is Unathi Maxhawula), saying that she has made a query to her manager about my application. She said the manager told her that Nedbank can only give me R35.000 in January 2013, if I can take the first amount they offered. I agreed to the R5 100.00 with the hope that next month I'll be able to pay all my debts. The downfall of all this is that I didn't ask for a promise printout from her.
On the 17/01/13 I went back because Unathi said I must come after my pay day (15th). She couldn't do anything that time I was there due to their technical errors. I went back in the afternoon and it was the same story. On the 18/01/13 I went back but she (Unathi) was on leave, and another consultant attended to me. She was surprised by the whole thing and I was disappointed to find out I've been declined. I feel their business is based on. Help
