My insurance premium goes off by debit order on the 25th of every month. This month it went off as usual but on the 4th an additional R460 was taken out of my bank account. This is the second time since I have been with this company that this has happened!?
When I phoned on Monday to query this I was told that it was a system error and that they would refund me by not taking the whole amount from my next premium. I said that it was not good enough, so they said I should go to the bank and get a stamped statement which I then have to send to them and then I will get my money back after 5 -7 working days.
This is unacceptable as I am wasting time and money because of their mistake. I told the lady this and she said I do not have to do anything and they will refund me within 5-7 working days. I asked her to send me an email confirming this immediately. She agreed and took my email address down.
I am still waiting 24 hours later! Why is that? How can I trust your company to support me in bigger matters when these things happen? The fact that you took this money means I am short for his month. Please pay my money back immediately, you are taking the food out of my son's mouth.
