Building insurance not secured for Home Loan

I have been through the long-winded process of purchasing a property with my boyfriend. Eventually the property was transferred and the home loan was registered. We signed all papers at bond attorneys, including papers for building insurance with OUTsurance (FNB did not give us a choice but didn't phase me). On 18 September I noticed that I had not received confirmation from OUTsurance and started making some calls. Turns out the insurance is loaded on our profile but not activated by FNB.

I e-mailed the premier bankers and had to wait about 7 Business Days before someone told me that it was escalated but no word was received. Someone from home loans will contact me that day to rectify immediately. Another 2 Business Days later I receive an e-mail from Home Loans stating - what I already know - that I don't have cover. I now need to provide alternate cover which meets a list of FNB conditions which I don't even know where to begin with. I responded with a complete time line of events, the fact that insurance was loaded on our profile by not activated and expressed my dismay in the matter and response.

We've not been insured for a month. I need a speedy resolve to this problem!
