My husband was stuck with a flat tyre on the N1 near Cape Town tonight. He contacted the call centre for Roadside Assistance as it was dangerous for him to attempt a tyre change himself. The operator at the call centre could not "find him" on the system even though there is a DQ tracker in the vehicle as well. Therefore the claim that with your DQ tracker you have peace of mind and that armed response etc can be sent out is all nonsense. The operator could also not find his location either - what is the purpose of the DQtracker then? For the family to view where you are? Is that it? What about the claim of emergency response etc. We have also yet to receive the so-called stickers for our cars so that emergency personnel can scan and obtain our detials in case of emergency. I intend not to leave this matter unheard and will insist on answers and also insist on our medical aid, life and short term insurance and all other DIscovery products to be moved elsewhere.
