I cancelled my Discovery Insurance Policy on 20th August 2013 at 16h12 (Ref 2971467872) and asked them to let the policy run till the end of August - as I had already paid for August in advance - and found out yesterday that a premium went off my account for last month (Sep) and this month (Oct). I called in yesterday to complain and ask them to cancel it and refund me and the lady said I would be called in 30 minutes and a refund would occur within the next week (5 working days). I got no call. I also had emailed [Email Removed] and got an email that someone would contact me. I call in today and find out the policy is still in effect. The reason I cancelled the policy is that I sold that car and Discovery even took the telematics unit out of the car first week of September. there is no way to get hold of them other than the contact center as the email has an automated reply. I would not recommend signing up with them. Their admin and data capturing skills are terrible.
