On the 5th September '13 my bakkie was. After we fullfiled all the requirements and safety and more from insurance, the assessor is dragging his legs. Hennie the appointed assessor, has not been a great help, not giving any indication what to do, and we had to solve our own de-registration of the m/v. We have not been given proper feedback in writing, and on 26 September, Hennie informed us the paperwork is at completion, in fact 30 minutes if he receives his documents. At last we have done all we could, and to be told, Hennie is out of town, and now its another waiting for a week to finalise the claim. We have no communication, he refuses to attend to the matter properly, as if we not important. And why have comprehensive insurance if he decided that he wont take any note of the extras on the m/v, why is it underwritten on the policy. I am told not to complain or the claim will be put on hold, as if the assessor has done nothing but cause further agony. It is a shame that we have to be treated like this and the no care attitude.
