Do they know what they doing

I can't believe being pushed from pillar to post by standard bank. I had an account with them i have settled the account in May already but standard bank has not updated my info with transunion showing that the account has been settled since, now it still reflecting badly on my credit report even though the account was settled at the end of may. I called there legal department this morning and they telling me the account is still active what is this all about and besides ok why are they not updating information with transunion.
