MY CARD EXPIRES & THEY DONT KNOW WHERE A NEW ONE

SO beyond irritated right now, I was at Standard bank the first week in August to get a secondary Elite account for my Fiance. At this point mentioned to the consultant that my card was worn out and she said the expiration date was 09/13 so I should receive a new card shortly. Today the 1st of Oct I cant use my Cheque card.
I phone standard bank and they tell me it was delivered on the 5th of August, TWO MONTHS ago!!! but the cant tell me where, just its in PE, so I proceed to hold for a further 10 mins for them to put me thru to "lost cards" (we at 25min call) for them to tell me its at the main branch, so now im stuck without cheque card or access to my funds for a week - because I work outside of PE and cant just take off work at my leisure. So many bad experience with this bank, no more threats, I am closing all my accounts with STD BANK in the coming months and moving to a bank that actually gives customer service. I wont even mention the fact that I registered for ucount and a month and half later, still no card, applied for a homeloan and only granted 80% where another bank offered me 104% Client for 10 years and this?? Appalled with STD bank service!
