I am sick and tired of phoning all my money out on African bank and they just don't update my profile with trans union
The call centre personnel have no idea what they are doing as they all give me the wrong information and everyday is a different story
I am going to let my complaint be heard all over the south Africa because African bank is quick to give loans but yet are not interested in you once you have paid the outstanding amount!
After I paid the amount of -R18k to settle and close the account (this was the amount the call centre had told me was my full outstanding figure) they then 2days later let me know that they had added this months debit to the amount and was told to pay yet another R400, I still have not found out why after asking numerous call centre agents.
I now sit with the issue of them taking forever to close my account and send the necessary documents to trans union to get my accounts updated. this problem is still on going as again many of the call centre agents I have spoken to have given me conflicting information, from it taking 3days to 37days (and even today I was told the accounts are still open even though I know them to be closed) to sort this out
