Closed cheque account

I went to FNB Pretoria North to reinstate my cheque account that was closed because I did not have work for 3 months. The lady that was suppose to help me did not even try to help me. She just told me I owe the bank nearly R400 for bank charges and I have to pay it immediately before they can help me. I explained to her that I am a widow, I did not had work for more than 3 months and that I dont have no money. I started to work in middle January 2013 and want to reinstate my account so my salarary could be paid in on 28 January 2013. I explained then the bank can take the R400 but she did not want to help me. WHAT ABOUT FNB'S LOG "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU". So now I don't get paid today I have to look for the R400 to reinstate my account. I am very disappointed.
