Envelope with R 4000 disappea

My daughter deposited R 4000 at the Douglas OTM of Standard Bank on 10/01/2013. On 15/01/2013 she received a sms saying that there was no such envelope in the OTM. The teller at the bank told me that their records show 3 deposit transactions, but when Fidelity Guards open the OTM there were only 2 envelopes. My daughter received a receipt from the OTM on 10/01/2013 showing the deposit of R 4000. The bank manager told me he launched a complaint on 15/01/2013, but till now I haven't heard anything and he said he thinks my daughter will loose the money. This is very disappointing news to us, because this is the pocket money she worked for during the holiday. She is now a first year student at Kovsies and already busy there, that is why I report this matter. Thanks for reading! Mrs Helaine Koen
