Debit Order taken even after settlement was made

My husband paid the settlement amount and then Direct Axis debited our account again.
We have paid this account and have not budgeted for this and they tell us that we must wait for a 10 day turn around time. UNACCEPTABLE. This is just UNACCEPTABLE.
