I repaid and closed my Revolving Credit and Overdraft account of over R100k with STD on the 12th of May 2012 due to the insensitive way STD credit department handled my enquiry and after spending an hour on the phone being put through to several people and having to explain myself over and over and each one making me feel worse than the previous one. I was wondering if STD trained their staff in the credit department to be so insensitive and rude and I ended up leaving the Clearwater Branch in tears - I was shocked and appalled about the way they treat me. I was going to report them to Hello Peter, but instead told the lady who assisted me that I promised that I will settle and close all my accounts with STD. And so I did. I To my total shock I was advised that I was blacklisted by STD for R400 by our Mortgage Adviser after we applied for a bond in the last week. I queried this but was told there was no records as the account was closed such a long time ago. I am so upset, we now stand loosing this house due to STD bank. I need this judgement removed NOW and I need proof emailed so we can resolve this matter. Please assist. My email address [Email Removed]
