Hi,
I called ABSA at the end the last month in an attempt to make a payment arrangement for my personal loan as I had just started a new job. The lady at the call centre informed me that this could not be done and I would simply have to default on the loan.
According to her the bank no longer did payment arrangements for clients. Surely this is not the best way to be dealing with this problem. When I queried whether this was made known to clients the consultant could not tell me.
Once again I would like to attempt to make an arrangement this month but I am not will to default on the loan. I hope that someone from ABSA could give me a call and help me rectify this.
