I've recently been blacklisted by incompetent staff from discovery health without me even knowing what was happening. I feel that trans union should give the consumer a chance to state his or her side of the story before just blacklisting a person on request of any company. Personallly I've had no notification from discovery that this was happening, and no notification from trans union either. I think a system should be put in place that when a blacklist is requested, the consumer be contacted via email or someting, telling him or her what's ging down, the consumer can then either ignore or state his side with supporting documents. A 7 day period should be put in pace for the consumer to be able to appeal this request. Big companies like discovery easily controlls and screws up peoples credit records and this can be avoided by a simple 7 day appeal system where the consumer actually also gets a chance. I've had a 100% clean credit record until discovery health happened to me and feel that its very unfair that my credit record should be affected by incompetent discovery health staff. Come on guys, give the consumer a chance too, we're paying the salaries after all!!!
