I had a credit card account with FNB. Up until now I had many problems trying to stop this account.
I was able to get the final outstanding amount from FNB after 3 times that I went there. I paid the final outstanding amount, received an account of R 0 and a document to say that this account was now closed.
Then a month later I started receiving e-mails from FNB, telling be to pay the outstanding amount of R 213.
I phoned them again to inform them that this account was closed.
Received another e-mail informing that my credit line was decreased to R 13 000 on my credit card.
Phoned them again and they asked me again if I want to stop the account. They said they will stop the account and reverse the charges.
I told them that I stopped it on the 3rd of June.
Received another e-mail informing me that there are now interest on the R 213 and it is now R 345.
Please help me to finalize this.
