Last month I applied for a loan of R2000 with FNB and clearly stated to the consultant that I get paid on the 25th of every month. I got an sms a while back from FNB telling me that the first instalment will be running on the 23rd of September 2013.
I phoned them today to arrange for this date to change, to no success. I was informed that the debit order has already been loaded. I spoke to Eudy Motsweneng who informed me that I must speak to the collections department about this to arrange for another date of payment on this loan. Which is going to be pointless because according to her, the debit order will still run inspite of the payment arrangement.
What I don't understand is what is the point of contacting the collections department if the debit order is still going to run on the 23rd and I'm going to get charged for the debit order that is going to bounce? I'm so frustrated right now because I don't know what to do regarding this matter, I don't know who in their right mind would type the 23rd as a date when I get paid when I clearly never said so!!!
Using FNB as my main bank is becoming a serious frustration as I always have to deal with such issues of accuracy!!
