I have had the most frustrating experience dealing with this company. I was offered a loan from this company, which initially I did not take up. The company stalked me with sms' messages and when deciding to take up the loan I visited the branch with the documents requested from the Call Centre. At the branch they were not willing to accept my ID as I had been remarried. How they refuse to accept my bank statements as they dont have a stamp on them. They have stated I need to take my bank statements that the bank mailed to me and go into the branch to get them stamped. Dealing with African Bank is like dealing with a company from the dark ages. There is no ease in doing business with them. I have been brought to tears by the run around I have gotten from them. My collegues have said I should rather go to Capitec as they offer a better service and are easy to deal with.
