I recently performed a transaction on one of my unit trusts. A few days later I received an email stating that they have noticed my address has changed as their mail got returned, to make matters worse, the address they have on their system is incorrect. I advised the agent that the address was incorrect -hence the return of the mail -he asked me to show proof of my new address. I forwarded the documents via email. My on line account states that I am Fica compliant and so does my broker. Yet I still receive emails reminding me to forward documents and contact them. I have on record a total of 9 emails sent to the following email addresses, Stanlib UT Account Maintenance ; 'Sibilwane, Siyabonga' ; 'Rateus' ; [Email Removed] [Email Removed] [Email Removed]
Yet I get no joy form anyone. It is sad that a huge Financial company does not have any customer service whatsoever. I have spoken to my broker and advised him of this saga -he didn't seem surprised and advised he will sort it out.
