I would like to report what I call utterly disgusting service from FNB. I call it utterly disgusting because I lack a better description of their service. I went to FNB ghandi square on the 3rd September to pull out a bank statement. I got my 11 paged bank statement at the cost of R99. The next day I realized that I was double billed for that bank statement, I called the call centre and reported the duplication. The agent assured me she will escalate my query and said they will refund me in 3 days and I was ok with it as I thought it was a system error and I took solace from the fact that I had brought it to their attention after all it was R99. To my surprise 3 days passed, no refund and yesterday, 10 September I got a call from an agent telling me I should go to the branch as they FNB admin was unable to help me. Now I have been double billed and I a being sent from pillar to post to get my R99 refunded. I just wanna close my account and bank else where, I don't know what else I would be billed for and not refunded. I could lose all salary due to their system error and not get help. I am so and I don't want to go to their branch back and fourth.
