This is about my claim which was registered on the 20/06/2013. AIG had asked me for specific documents which i did send through, however after checking up on my claim they had requested that i send in other 'missing documents', this of which they could not call me or email me to tell me about. My frustration is about the fact that they request documents only after i called and that they have recieved these documents already. I have also had to do a lot of running around for this claim and it has costed me over and above what i thought it would. It appears to me like AIG is holding back my claim so that they do not have to me pay out. I pay my insurance monthly without fail. My hospital bills stated all the info they needed, including hospital reports, the number of days in hospital etc. I find that AIG is incompetent with regards to processing claims and they are not all their advertisements state they are.
