I phoned Outsurance on 6/9/2013 for a quote and spoke to Lucky. After being kept on the phone for a full hour, I was informed of the total insurance premium. This was R1 530.32, so much more than my existing insurance.(R944.67) I then replied that I would just go ahead and claim the R400. We see the advert daily, that if Outsurance cannot better your quote, they will give you R400. Lucky then said he will try "something else" and then came up with the premium of R1 245.21. Needless to say I would be claiming my R400. I was sent an e-mail as well as sms with a password to use. I did all that was required and now they came back to me and said I "do not qualify", because the person who phoned and the person in whose name the insurance is, is not the same person. I told them to check their tapes and that I would now be contacting "Hello Peter"!
