LEFT STRANDED - HOME ASSIST DRIVE

We had planned a night out in Plumstead, I live in Bothasig, and I wanted to use the Home Assist Drive services offered by Santam.
I called to log a call around 11:30pm for a pick up at 1pm. I received an sms back with a ref number: D5-9KN2-01 and we can contact Ashley. It was soon after that, that I received a call back to say there is a high demand, would it be ok if I was picked up at 2pm. I agreed as I realised they must be busy with the rugby etc. Needless to say 2am eventually came and went. I called the call centre and had to hold on for dear life. I was eventually answered by an agent who said she had no answer for me as there were no services available. I was furious. I lost the call and the lady, Ashley Benjamin, called me back - by now it was 3pm in the morning. Up until this point NO ONE had the decency to call us and let us know what was happening. Stranded, we were left in a very uncomfortable position and we were forced to drive ourselves home. No one bothered to call us yesterday to apologise for the poor service. Shocking service! I have always loved Santam but this was shocking!!
