Late last week my "old goat" decided she's too tired to go any further, so I had to make a plan to get another car.
With good faith and some luck I managed to get my new set of wheels in two days. And then I looked at getting insurance. For someone who wants to know and wants to have every single thing his way, insurance can become a complicating hassle and a sure provider of stress and headaches. That was, until I got into contact with Mercia van Staden from African Independent.
I had questions, queries, things I wanted to amend, etc - which is normal in these instances. But the way she did her job, caught me. She handled everything, coping with my ever-present temper, the prompt returns and amendments I requested - all with a smile. I can become a bit of a grump but her friendly demeanor had a positive effect.
She is one of those individuals who would go out of their way to help you as best they can, while setting an example at the same time. A real gem.
