I have had my personal account with Standard Bank for a long time. No brainer then when I needed to open a business account! Standard Bank Milnerton branch it was. My initial banker was great, very helpful. But then she left! The next one, when she actually would respond to me was very average. Then she left - and of course, no, I don't pay them enough for them to have the decency of letting me know this. The previous lady at least let me know she was leaving! I went into the bank a few Saturdays ago and spoke to someone who assured me that my new banker starting that next week would contact me. What a fool to believe that person! Not 1 word! NOT 1 WORD! I now need someone urgently and have to speak to the call centre somewhere in the middle of this country to speak to someone a couple of kilometres down the road! PATHETIC STANDARD BANK, NO WONDER YOU'RE LOSING YOUR MARKET SHARE! I'M KEEN TO CLOSE ALL OF MY ACCOUNTS, MOVE MY BONDS AND EVERYTHING ELSE!!!
