Name: Ashnee Pillay ID Number: 8209300122081My premiums are to be deducted off my account on the 25th of every month. We are now on the 29th of August 2013, and the premiums have not been deducted. There are sufficient funds available in the account but it has not been deducted!! But forbid I have an incident and need insurance cover, the first point of note will be that the premiums have not been paid! When I have asked for the option to do a manual payment, I am told I am NOT ALLOWED TO DO SO! But of course if there is an incident then I will be allowed to make a manual payment before the insurance claim can be processed, PROCESSED NOT APPROVED! Your system is extremely flawed and designed in such a way that it caters for the needs of Discovery and not the needs of the client. I have cancelled the policy on the one vehicle VW Polo as it has been traded in and there is no need for the insurance any longer, I have logged a call with several different call centre agents who give me their name and reference numbers but they never bother to give me any feedback.
