I updated my details as per Fica requirements on 13 June 2013, provided "Sergay" with two utility bills (Fica compliant) and my account was "unblocked" and verified. My account was frozen again the next day, resulting in me returning to the bank again. I was advised this would be rectified, to date my account has been frozen on and off since 13/06/2013. When I returned to the bank on 23/07/2013, the "information" desk consultant, blatantly requested that I provide them with documents again, as they have lost mine! I refused to be held accountable for the branch's negligence and my account was unfrozen again, after a call, confirmation that it would not happen again and an apology from: Rene Jacobs (customer service manager). I was apalled when my account was frozen again the day after (24/07/2013), I have yet to receive feedback from Rene Jacobs and my account is still frozen. Is this branch aware of the dire implications this fica breach has on their branch??? I will not be held liable for your branch negligence, I have been inconvenienced for two months and wants this resolved soonest!
