I was at Capitec Bank earlier today to open up a savings account.

I followed through with there process and their new "no paperwork" system until the end only to find out that I should return because their systems has failed and I need to restart the ENTIRE process again.

I didnt have the time for that so I said I would come back in the course of the day but wil call before the time.
upon my return i go back to the consultant I dealt with (Zahier). he then speaks to me like I'm his friend and not a potential client of Capitec Bank.

whilst we busy with the process AGAIN, his female colleague next to him burps LOUDLY and with no apologies to that -not only is this UNPROFESSIONAL, its DISGUSTING to say the very least.
I continue with the process with opening my Savings Account and once again when the application is 95% complete the systems fail AGAIN!! seriously?

with all this being said, I am utterly disgusted at Capitec's service and system!

look on the bright side: I'm glad this has happened as if I were to be a client of yours I would have experienced continuous problems with regards to service and my banking.
