Eceive sms of car instalment increase

I received a call on the 18th of July from a Mr Anthony Perold in which he informed me that i needed to furbish him with my proof of insurance. He then proceeded to tell me that if i did not send the proof before 30 days i would be charged extra to cover for insurance which ABSA wanted to insure that i had. As this all sounded suspect, i went online and searched for both AIPservces and mr Perold, and to my surprise and utter dismay, all that i read including here on this forum was that ABSA still continued to deduct money from people's accounts eventhough they had sent proof of insurance, and that all if not most of them had trouble reaching the said individual or could not get their money back.

I then went ahead and submitted my proof of insurance to mr Perold and received an automated response that he was out of office and that a consultant would contact me within 72 hours. i never received a call from the consultant. Today i receive an sms stating that my vehicle installment will be increased by R647.40 as no proof of insurance was submitted. This is a high end corporate by ABSA, please ensure no money goes out my account as you have my proof of insurance.
