After my father passed away on the 14/07/2013 we tried to claim for his funeral benefit from medway. After numerous attempts (email, fax ect) we finally send all the necessary forms via registered post. After 2 weeks with no reply from their side I phoned them yesterday just to find out that they have not yet picked up the letter from the post office. Today they phone me back to tell me that niw the letter is missing somewhere between when they picked it up and the claim dep. Bongani is the person I spoke to and after I wanted to speak to a manager I spoke to Haley (def not a manager). After I asked her how they managed to loose the letter (of course Im not nice about it by now) she put the phone down in my ear. This is a funeral policy which means you need the money asap but I guess not in their books??? Still no outcome after 3 weeks. They are pathetic!!! Im def taking legal action against them.
